Edgardo Ayala Román, better known as Millo Ayala, and his wife Yaseiri Valderrama venture into this company in order to revive Highway 615 in Ciales.
Millo and Yaseiri are focused on serving as motivation for other entrepreneurs to reopen their businesses in the Pozas de Ciales neighborhood.
The name Arte de Jíbaro came from Millo's experience as a manager in a restaurant where he did not feel very comfortable. One day, an elderly couple of about 61 years old were telling him that they created their company at the age of 41 and that they were already retired. Millo began to show him the dishes that he made at that time with his “catering” company and when he turned around one of them told him: the truth is that you are a Jíbaro with Art. Millo thought, he took a napkin, shaping Art of Jíbaro. This name normally focuses on music; That is why little by little they have incorporated instruments such as: guitar, güiro, tambourines into the business.
